Delphine Bouvet Interiors is a South London studio specialising in story-led hospitality design, helping independent operators create venues that feel distinctive, run smoothly and keep customers coming back.
Every venue we design starts with a story: where your food comes from, the people behind it, and the experience you want guests to have from the moment they walk in. We translate that into materials, lighting, colour and detail, so that every element points in the same direction and the space feels unmistakably yours. When we turned a former sushi restaurant in Beckenham into Cántaro, an immersive Mexican eatery, it was stucco walls, terracotta and layered lighting that brought the story to life, all designed to keep the food the star.
We are currently designing a new restaurant on Northcote Road, opening in early 2027. We’re leading the project from start to finish: layout, concept, bespoke joinery, lighting and shopfront design, then builder tendering and full project management through to opening. Behind the story sits careful planning. We start with space planning, getting covers, customer flow and kitchen position right, then develop the concept, bespoke joinery, lighting design and full specification, with detailed drawings your builder can price accurately. Compliance is built in from the start: fire safety, accessibility, slip resistance and contract-grade fabrics.
If this is your first site, we can be your one-stop shop. We get to know your food, your customers and your brand, and can advise on shopfront and signage, work alongside your graphic designer, and talk you through decisions you haven’t faced before. We can also run the builder tender and manage the fit-out on your behalf, using trusted builders, joiners and specialist trades we know across South London.
